Day 2
January 25th - We kicked off the day with an impromptu football game - the Moms against the Sons. An arts and crafts activity: making flags for all the families. There was a baseball game, leggos, necklaces being made, trees being climbed and beaches to play on. Captain Jack Sparrow also made an appearance and lead all the kids on a treasure hunt.

Day 3
January 26th - Some began with morning Yoga on the beach. Then we exchanged road stories and huddled under awnings while it rained. We had a collective moment when we remembered a family that was planning to come to our event but who had to change their plans when the father passed suddenly last month.
Several families were interviewed by Bergen from figure 8 films for possible inclusion in an upcoming documentry on the TLC network about families on the road. Then we toured each others RVs (several A-classes, 5th wheels, a small C-class and an Airstream travel trailer) where we exchanged tips and ideas.
In the evening we crammed about 25 people in the Smythe's RV to record a podcast hosted by the Goza family. (It will air 1/31) The teens had a movie night and the gamers played on their electronic systems.
Many friendships have been struck and we all look forward to crossing paths in the future.
